Biography

My name is Sandra Burin and I am a wild mix of a veterinarian and a linguist. I love to travel to discover various cultures, places and cuisines. My favorite in all these regards is, so far, Italy.

In my professional career I switched, after my bachelor degree in comparatistics at the University of Vienna, to Veterinary medicine. In October 2025 I opened my own veterinary practice in Schrick. I’m also a freelance medical writer (human and veterinary medicine) with special interest in internal and comparative medicine, endocrinology and rare diseases.
